Does the felt shed?
Natural wool felt may release a few loose fibres after heavy scratching, which is completely normal. Loose fibres can simply be removed by hand or with a lint brush.

These differences reflect the natural origin of the wool, as fibre tones can vary depending on the sheep and the regions from which the wool is sourced. Some batches may appear slightly lighter, while others may have richer taupe or deeper brown undertones.
