Made from premium natural Merino wool, it is compressed to create an exceptionally dense, stable, and durable material. Unlike thinner decorative felts, its high density allows it to maintain its shape while remaining naturally flexible, offering a unique balance of performance, comfort, and refined aesthetics.

Wool is a renewable natural fibre obtained from sheep that are shorn as part of their regular care. Shearing is essential to the animals' health and well-being while providing a raw material that naturally renews itself year after year.

Care

Merino wool felt is naturally easy to care for.

For regular maintenance, use a lint brush or vacuum to remove dust, pet hair, and loose fibres.

If needed, gently spot clean with cold water and mild soap, then allow it to air dry completely.

Should the felt lose its shape over time, a warm iron with steam or a garment steamer will easily restore its original appearance. Thanks to the natural resilience of wool fibres, it responds exceptionally well to gentle heat.

Yes. Every MATT™ product is precision cut using CNC (Computer Numerical Control) technology, ensuring consistent dimensions, clean edges, and exceptional accuracy from one piece to the next.

Will every piece look exactly the same?

Our Merino wool felt is manufactured to rigorous quality standards to ensure consistent density, thickness, and performance.

Because wool is a natural fibre, subtle variations in colour may occasionally appear within the felt itself or between production batches. These natural variations reflect the authentic character of the material and do not affect the quality, durability, or performance of our products.
