Inspired by cats’ instinctive attraction to boxes and enclosed spaces, the MATT™ basket is made from dense, breathable wool felt to provide comfort, structure, and a durable alternative to synthetic pet beds.
- Made from thick, industrial-grade natural wool felt
- Approximately 5–6 mm thick, providing structure while remaining soft and flexible
- Crafted from one continuous sheet of felt, folded at the four corners to create a defined resting space without a rigid frame
- Raised, flexible edges give cats and small dogs a surface to curl up against while creating the sense of enclosure many pets naturally seek
- Unlike synthetic materials, wool is a natural fiber with a soft, tactile surface that feels warm and inviting
- Wool fibers are compressed into an ultra-dense and durable material designed for everyday use
- Soft to the touch yet highly structured, allowing the basket to maintain its shape while remaining comfortable for resting

- Rolls compactly like a yoga mat for convenient transport and storage
- Care: Vacuum or use a lint brush regularly. Spot clean with cold water and mild soap as needed
- Reshaping: Unfold and lay flat, then use a steam iron to help restore the felt’s original shape
- Machine washing is not recommended. Dry clean if needed
Chez MATT™, nous privilégions des matériaux choisis pour leur durabilité, leurs propriétés naturelles et leur capacité à traverser le temps. Le feutre utilisé pour notre collection destinée aux animaux est composé de 85 à 95 % de fibres de laine naturelle, selon la couleur, tandis que le pourcentage restant provient de fibres textiles recyclées, notamment de coton.
Cette composition permet de créer un matériau dense, résistant et conçu pour un usage quotidien, tout en valorisant des fibres existantes plutôt qu’en ayant recours exclusivement à de nouvelles matières. La laine apporte naturellement respirabilité, confort et durabilité, tandis que la densité du feutre contribue à prolonger la vie du produit malgré les comportements naturels des animaux.
